Beginning for the 2025-2026 school year, HCS students in grades K-12 are not permitted to display or use a cell phone, smartwatch, or other electronic communication device on school property during the school day.

Hampton Middle School is a PBIS school.

Hampton Middle School has a thriving fine arts program with orchestra, band, chorus, and art featured in the 2024-2025 Superintendent’s Art Gallery.

Hampton Middle has an award-winning football, basketball, and wrestling athletic program.

Hampton Middle School Scholars have won the REACH Georgia Scholarships for three consecutive years.

Hampton Middle School has service clubs, such as the Jr. Beta Club, National Junior Honor Society, and PBIS Ambassadors program.

Hampton Middle School's Teacher of the Year is Dr. E. Fay Willis. She was a district teacher of the year semi-finalist.
