HMS 8th Grade Activities

We are excited about celebrating with our 8th-grade students as they prepare to culminate their final year at Hampton Middle School!

 

We will host the following activities:

Friday, May 9th, 2025 Skyzone

Buses will depart Hampton Middle at 10 a.m. Please make sure your child is present for departure. This trip is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Monday, May 12th, 2025 8th Grade Party/Ice Cream Social

All students are able to participate in this event; however, not all students will be able to engage in the ice cream social. This is for students who have paid dues. Students cannot pay for ice cream on the day of the event.

Tuesday, May 13th, 2025 Bouncy Houses and Taco Truck

Please wear attire that is appropriate for outdoor activities such as shorts, a t-shirt, and comfortable sneakers. Please bring additional clothing if necessary. Students will be provided with a meal ticket for the taco truck. Students cannot choose to pay for a meal on the day of the event.

Wednesday, May 14th, 2025 Field Day

Wear your field day shirts! Please wear attire that is appropriate for outdoor activities such as shorts, a t-shirt, and comfortable sneakers. Please bring additional clothing if necessary. All students will participate in field day.

Thursday, May 15th, 2025 Awards Day/ Grab & Go Chickfila Breakfast

Students receiving awards will participate in this event. Students do not have to pay to receive an award. Only those who have paid for breakfast will receive food. This cannot be paid for on the day of.

Friday, May 16th, 2025 8th Grade Formal Dance

Hollywood Theme Formal prom attire may be classified as a dress, tuxedo, dress suit, including a tie or bow tie, a dress shirt, which may include a vest, dress shoes, and a design mask. Formal dress hats that go with the tuxedo or suit are welcome. Dresses should not be cut low in the front; plunging chest and necklines are not appropriate. Dresses may not be cut below the bust line. See-through, mesh tops or bra-top-style dresses are not appropriate for this event. Last, avoid high splits and low back dresses. Pants should not be worn below the waistline. Jeans are not appropriate for this formal event. This event is from 6 pm- 9 pm. Students can be checked out from school beginning at 12:35 pm. An early check-out Google form link will be sent out closer to this time.
